Establishment of basic
infrastructure for wetland data management
It serves maintenance of national wetland inventory archives, by relevant bodies
and contributes
to the institutional strengthening for the conservation of Albanian wetlands.
In particular the following are foreseen:

Development of a “Data Bases and GIS” Department at ECAT-Tirana, to serve as a national focal point for the maintenance of wetland archives. |

Adaptation of the MedWet Database. |
|
Installation of the MedWet Database at selected relevant Albanian bodies. |
